NUCA to finish infrastructure and utilities for 30,000 feddans by 2017

Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will complete the implementation of infrastructure and utilities to 30,000 feddans before the fourth quarter (Q4) of next year.

The utilities will be established in 21 new cities with total cost 14 billion Egyptian pounds. In addition, NUCA will prepare a schedule for the timing of the execution of the facilities to determine the delivery date of the first phase, which includes building utilities in 21,300 pieces of land.

NUCA’s investment plan for the 2016-2017 fiscal years increased to 37 billion pounds compared to 22 billion pounds in the last fiscal year.

NUCA’s investment plan for the 2016-2017 fiscal year amounted to EGP 37 billion compared to EGP 22 billion in the last fiscal year.

Moreover, approximately 20 billion pounds of this year’s budget will be directed towards the Dar Misr social housing project, while 14 billion pounds will be used to execute infrastructure and utilities in 30,000 feddans, and 3 billion pounds to develop the first phase of New El Alamein City and East Port Said.
