168 new coronavirus cases, 24 deaths recorded on Tuesday

168 new coronavirus cases recorded in Egypt on Tuesday bringing the total infections tally to 95,834 since the virus began in February, according to a health ministry statement.

The ministry reported 24 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the Covid-19 to 5,059.

The statement said 1,109 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 54,888.
