1700 Tourists Arrive In Alexandria Port

Egypt’s Alexandria Port received this morning the Maltese cruise ship “Thomson Spirit” coming from Turkey and transferring 1700 from different nationalities, and the cruise ship “Black watch”, which was coming from Sharm Al Sheikh and carrying 885 tourists.

For his part, Gen. Adel Yassin Hamad, Head of Alexandria Port Authority, said the authority cooperated with Tourism Directorate in Alexandria to prepare a program for the groups includes visiting the historical places, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and malls.

He added that the groups will return to their cruise ships immediately after finishing their program; heading to the Red Sea Ports.
