Egypt’s Transport Ministry has mandated the implementation of Assiut-Sohag Western Desert Road flagship worth 1.149 billion Egyptian ($65.3 billion) to four construction works, said Minister Hesham Arafat on Sunday.
The four firms are the state-owned Hassan Allam, Orascom Construction (OC), and General Nile Company for Construction and Road Paving as well as Nile Company for Road Construction, Arafat further added.
“The operating firms are to complete the project (Assiut-Sohag Western Desert Road) before the end of December 2018,” the Egyptian minister referred.
