The Egyptian Commercial Representation Body, through its office in Athens, was able to get approval from the Greek authorities on inaugurating 4 new ports for the Egyptian exports to Greece, to help in increasing the volume of commercial exchange between the two countries.
Anwar Al Sahragty, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Body, told Amwal Al Ghad that the total number of ports, which receive the Egyptian products, reached 6 distributed on different places in Greece.
He added that this procedure will develop the Egyptian exports to the Greek market, as this decreases the shipping cost on the exported product.
The comparative decline in the Euro exchange rate against the Egyptian pound negatively affected exporting the Egyptian products to the European market in general, the Greek market in particular, during the Greek economy sufferings. These sufferings may affect the Egyptian exports in the coming period.
