A delegation of 40 American firms is scheduled to visit Egypt on October 25, 2016 to showcase available investments opportunities in the Egyptian market.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Wednesday, Chairman of Egypt-U.S. Business Council (EUSBC), Omar Mohanna stated that the council will organise joint meetings with a number of local investors to discuss current situation in national projects notably Suez Canal Axe and New Administrative Capital City projects.
The council is set to held its meeting during the visit of the American delegation, the chairman pointed out.
On other side, the statistics of Egyptian trade ministry showed that the total volume of Egyptian exports to U.S. reached around US$1.4 million in 2015, while state’s Qiz exports recorded US$1 billion, seizing 71 percent of the total volume.
Moreover, the total volume of American investments in the Egyptian markets are estimated at around US$22 billion.
