24 Companies Compete to Take Over 1500 Plots’ Utilities

24 contracting companies have applied for the tender held by Sadat City Apparatus for providing utilities for 1500 plots. On the top of these companies are Arab Contractors and Egyptian Contracting (Mokhtar Ibrahim) (ECMI).

Eng. Ashraf Abdel-Rahman, Apparatus Chairman, stated that the envelopes will be opened next Tuesday, in addition to assigning the task to the winning company. He added that the schedule for implementation is 8 months.

He added that the Apparatus is currently working on implementing 4 projects for improving roads at the city at a cost of EGP 60 million. These projects will be finalized during the coming year.

He also pointed out that the Apparatus has called upon security bodies to remove the encroachments on 17 acres as fast as possible, given that the negotiations held with the encroachers have doomed to failure.
