Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) is aiming at increasing trade exchange with East Africa by $4 billion within the next two years its chairman Yousry El-Sharkawy. El-Sharkawy said.
He told Amwal Al Ghad that EABA is working on boosting cooperation with the African continent in the light of the political leadership keenness on enhancing economic ties between the state and the African countries.
El-Sharkawy stressed that the Egyptian industries should benefit from the opportunities that can be found in Africa, as the continent’s imports have recorded $ 567 billion during 2019, of which Egypt’s share does not exceed 1 percent.
