The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) announced that it has signed contracts to import 480,000 tons of wheat from four countries after an international bid round.
The GASC added in a statement that it has purchased 240,000 tons, 120,000 tons, 60,000 tons, and similar 60,000 tons of wheat from France, Russia, Ukraine and Romania respectively.
The new shipments are set to be received from March 15 through 30, according to the statement.
