The majority of the Asian markets collapsed on Friday, closing the week at very low values. The Chinese main index SSEC fell by -1.40 percent to 3,230.08, the highest value recorded being 3,262.15, a very close to its closing value. The index recorded a day low value of 3,229.50, also a very close value to its closing value.
The Japanese Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, dropped by -1.67 percent to 28,143.97. The index opened at 28,385.29, and it recorded a day high value of 28,424.24, and a day low value of 28,118.74.
Hong Kong’s main index (HSI) witnessed the biggest drop in all of the major indices in the Asian markets. The index dropped by -3.04 percent to 19,319.92, when it opened at 19,580.78. The index recorded a day high value of 19,637.72 and a day low value of 19,281.97.
