Ferrari, the Italian car maker, said on Tuesday that it partnered with Samsung Display to use its organic light-emitting diode (OLED) in future car models.
Ferrari’s CEO, Bendetto Vigna, said that Samsung will produce “bespoke OLED technology display solutions” for the next Ferraris generation.
The heads of both companies signed a memorandum of understanding in South Korea’s Asan.
Vigna previously said that the company would use external suppliers for non-crucial software or components, as part of the company’s goal to focus on electricity investments.
Ferrari plans to unveil its first electric vehicle in 2025.
