Egypt’s Food Export Council (FEC) revealed its intention to expand international sales in the sector next year to boost shipments in China and Brazil, for which exports are still weak, Brazil-Arab News Agency reported on Wednesday.
FEC’s board chairman Hany Barzy, told ANBA in an interview that reaching new markets is a top priority for 2024. The FEC plans to participate in shows in China and Brazil to give Egyptian products more visibility and space.
The council intends to take part in a series of international events until the end of this year, including Anuga in Germany and WorldFood Istanbul in Turkey, Barzy further mentioned.
