Ambassador In Jakarta Discusses Ways Of Reviving National Economy

Egypt’s ambassador to Jakarta, Bahaa Desouki, has invited the members of the Egyptian community in Indonesia to a broad meeting at the headquarters if the embassy; aiming to enhance the ties between the community and the Egyptian embassy through an open meeting every month.

Some 200 citizens of the Egyptian community in Indonesia had attended the meeting. They took up the latest political developments in Egypt and their visions towards the crisis. And also they made suggestions over reviving the national economy at the current phase, in addition to the role of the Egyptian expatriates to achieve this target. The discussion concluded by making some suggestions that the embassy will officially send to Cairo.

The community members showed their willingness to participate in the political incidents in Egypt and to have their complete rights in elections and referendum; praising the embassy’s role in organizing the last referendum process.
