Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has issued a presidential decree to reassign the presidential spokesman Yasser Ali to be the head of the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center.
Sources said Morsi will appoint Ayman Ali, his adviser for Egyptian expatriates, or Ahmed Abdel Moaty, one of Muslim Brotherhood’s leading figures, as a new spokesman.
Yasser Ali, 48, was appointed as spokesperson on July 24th, 2012. He is a dermatologist who joined the Muslim Brotherhood in 1987, and has a diploma in media from Cairo University.
