EGP edges up against USD at Wednesday market opening

The Egyptian Pound (EGP) showed a modest gain against the US Dollar (USD) at the start of trading on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) set their rates at EGP 47.10 for buying and EGP 47.20 for selling.

QNB ALAHLI’s exchange rates were EGP 47.06 for buying and EGP 47.16 for selling, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank maintained rates at EGP 47.20 for buying and EGP 47.30 for selling.

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt maintained rates at EGP 47.10 for buying and EGP 47.20 for selling, and the United Bank set its rates at EGP 46.90 for buying and EGP 47.00 for selling.
