China calls EU to remove sanctions on Russia-linked firms

China’s foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning on Tuesday called the European Union (EU) to lift sanctions on Chinese companies accused of supporting Russia’s actions in Ukraine.

Mao opposes unilateral sanctions and has expressed its concerns to the EU during a press conference.
