Egypt industry: Investors can reapply for industrial land offering

Egypt’s Ministry of Industry has announced that investors whose feasibility studies were previously approved but failed to obtain industrial land will be given a chance to reapply in a new round without resubmitting documentation, as long as they apply for the same area and industrial activity.

Furthermore, the ministry is advancing efforts to formalise the status of informal factories, aiming to integrate them into the formal economy. These factories will undergo evaluation by the Authority’s inspection committee, which will outline the necessary steps for legalisation and assess their environmental impact.
