The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Wael al-Maddawy, said a heft investment project for establishing a complete airports city inside Cairo International Airports on an area of 10 million m2, and at EGP 200 billion total investment; elucidating that the Arab Women Investors Union, led by Hoda Yassa, will promote the project and work on attracting foreign investments to carry out it.
On the sidelines of Joint Arab Investments and International Cooperation conference, hosted by the Arab League, al-Maddawy stated that planning for establishing city for airports represents new global thinking besides the developed services that the countries carry out, in addition to utilizing it through constructing all the services needed for the visitors of Cairo Airport.
He added that an English company is taking over the complete planning for the project; paving the way to start the implementation processes, which supposed to be within 4 years.
The conference of the Arab Women Investors Union reflects the capability of the Egyptian economy to revivify, said al-Maddawy, emphasizing that the project will contribute to establishing several new investment ventures in Egypt with Arab contributions in different economic fields.
