WB raises India’s growth forecast to 7% for FY ’25

The World Bank (WB) revised India’s growth forecast for the current fiscal year to seven per cent, up from its earlier projection of 6.6 per cent, according to a statement released on Tuesday.

According to a data released last week showed that India’s economic growth slowed to 6.7 per cent in the April-June quarter, primarily due to a decline in government spending during national elections.
