China sanctions on US firms over Taiwan links

China‘s Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday sanctions against three US military-linked companies and ten senior executives in response to the US government’s decision to sell arms to Taiwan.

The sanctions, which went into effect on Thursday, target Edge Autonomy Operations LLC, Huntingdon Ingalls Industries Inc, and Skydio Inc. The Chinese government will freeze any assets these entities hold within the country.
