The International Monetary Fund (IMF) revised on Tuesday downward its economic growth forecast for Mexico, reducing its July projections from 2.2 per cent to 1.5 per cent for 2024, and from 1.6 per cent to 1.3 per cent for 2025.
According to the IMF’s latest World Economic Outlook, the Washington-based international lender noted trends in inflation, forecasting a rate of 4.7 per cent in 2024, with a subsequent decline to 3.8 per cent in 2025.
