UK unemployment rate increased to 4.3 per cent in the three months to September, up from four per cent in the previous quarter, as per data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Tuesday.
The number of employees on company payrolls declined by 9,000 over the quarter, and job vacancies fell for the 28th consecutive month to their lowest level since May 2021, the report showed.
