Spain’s inflation hits 2.4% in Nov. ’24
Spain’s annual Harmonised (HCPI) inflation rate reached 2.4 per cent in November, six tenths higher than the one registered in October of 1.8 per cent, according to the flash indicator prepared by the NSI on Thursday.
The increase is driven by higher electricity and fuel prices. The monthly HCPI variation remained at 0.0 per cent.
The annual CPI inflation rate also stood at 2.4 per cent, reflecting the same increase, marking the lowest annual growth rate since September 2021. Monthly consumer prices rose by 0.2 per cent in November compared to October.
Core inflation, excluding non-processed food and energy, decreased slightly to 2.4 per cent.
