EGP wavers vs. USD in early trade

The Egyptian pound (EGP) experienced slight fluctuations against the US dollar (USD) in early trading on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr set rates at EGP 50.80 for buying and EGP 50.90 for selling, while QNB ALAHLI listed EGP 50.79 for buying and EGP 50.89 for selling.

Arab African International Bank and Commercial International Bank (CIB) recorded rates of EGP 50.81 for buying and EGP 50.91 for selling.

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt offered EGP 50.85 for buying and EGP 50.95 for selling, with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) providing slightly higher rates at EGP 50.86 for buying and EGP 50.95 for selling.
