Italy’s trade surplus with non-EU27 countries stood at €5.91 billion in November 2024, down from €6.08 billion in the same month last year, according to the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat).
Excluding energy, the surplus fell to €9.8 billion, compared to €11.34 billion in November 2023.
Exports to non-EU27 countries rose by 0.4 per cent year-on-year, while imports increased by 1.3 per cent. Exports grew by 5.6 per cent and imports by 5.3 per cent compared to October 2024.
Over the past three months, seasonally adjusted exports were up 0.6 per cent, and imports rose by 2.9 per cent.
