Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb was sworn in as head of a new government this Tuesday early morning, in a ceremony overseen by the newly-elected President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Mehleb’s cabinet, including newly appointed Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman and of International Cooperation Naglaa El Ahwany, was due to be sworn in shortly afterwards.
Most other key economic and security ministers kept their jobs in Mehleb’s limited reshuffle. The reshuffle came after President Sisi re-appointed the premier last week following his presidential inauguration.
