Egypt’s 3 Operators will Review Raise Phone Prices Tomorrow

Senior sources in the 3 mobile phone operators (Vodafone, Mobinil and Etisalat ) asserted that they will review tomorrow the increase of internet and sound prices as result of the raise of fuel prices.

The sources rejected to identify proportion for the expected increase , denying that it will be 10% as it reported in some media.

High fuel prices is inevitable to reduce the budget deficit and To cope with rising prices of inputs to the production process.

CEO of Linatel Hamdy al-Lithy said the raise of fuel will affect negatively on the cost of mobile phone services, asserting that it works to cover the cost of fuel prices throughout its profits.
