Egypt paid last Friday, July 4th a US$700 million installment to the Paris club, the country’s central bank governor Hisham Ramez told Reuters in a phone interview Sunday.
A total of US$700 million were paid to the economic club last January.
As pursuant to the an agreement concluded between the Egyptian government and the Paris Club several years ago, Egypt pays a total of US$700 million installment of its foreign debts to the economic club in January and July.
