Emirates NBD Egypt’s Profits Surpass EGP200mn in H1

Emirates NBD Egypt Achieved AED 102.8 million (EGP200.7 million) during the first half of the current year in compared to EGP167.8 million at the same period of 2013, recording 19.6% growth rate.

The bank’s financial statements revealed that Emirates NBD Egypt attained AED326.1million (EGP636.7million) at June 2014.

BNP Paribas SA, France’s biggest bank, also announced in 2013 the sale of its Egyptian unit to Emirates NBD PJSC in a $500 million deal.

Emirates NBD registered AED1.3 billion within the first half of 2014(EGP2.55billion) so the unit’s profits in Egypt reached 7.86% from the total profits.
