The Libyan petroleum dealer, OiLibya’s Egyptian subsidiary is to export 500 tonnes of oil every month to Ethiopia, managing director Saleh Al-Abdali said Sunday.
This comes after OiLibya-Egypt had signed a contract with one of the Ethiopian firms.
Following this agreement, OiLibya-Egypt’s total exports to Ethiopian market are expected to reach US$12 million annually, Al-Abdali told Amwal Al Ghad Sunday. Those exports encompass all types of premium quality engine oils, including petrol, diesel, Accel Fusion, and DEOMAX.
The engine oils to be exported to Ethiopia are manufactured in OiLibya’s factory in Egypt’s Borg Al-Arab city, he added.
The agreement is signed under the framework of COMESA pact for trade between Egypt and African countries, Al-Abdali said.
