Revenues Of Suez Canal Hit $3.4bln In 8 Months

The revenues of the Suez Canal hit 3.4 billion dollars (about 27.2 billion pounds) during the first eight months of 2015.

As many as 11,188 ships carrying 630,813 tons of goods transited the waterway during this period, according to statistics released by the Suez Canal Authority on Saturday.
