Etisalat Egypt’s revenues rose to $309.7mn in Q3

Etisalat Egypt, the Egyptian arm of UAE’s telecom group Etisalat, recorded third quarter revenues worth around 2.487 billion Egyptian pounds (US$309.7 million).

During the second quarter of 2015, Etisalat Egypt’s revenues stood at 2.338 billion pounds.

Meanwhile, parent company, Etisalat, which operates directly and indirectly in 18 countries across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, announced in a statement Wednesday that it made a net profit of 1.95 billion dirhams ($530.9 million) in the three months to September 30, it said in a statement, down from 2.13 billion dirhams.
