Egypt’s military rulers will replace four ministers in a limited cabinet reshuffle that will be announced officially on Thursday, the state MENA news agency quoted an unnamed official as saying.
The ministers are for higher education, culture, manpower and parliamentary affairs, MENA said.
Egyptians begin voting in two weeks’ time in their first presidential election since Hosni Mubarak was ousted in February 2011. The polls could bring into government members of the Muslim Brotherhood, which has been calling for the replacement of the cabinet.
