Cypriot Agriculture Minister Nicos Kouyialis offered to supply Egypt’s consumer complexes with different types of fresh fish, Egyptian Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy said Wednesday.
According to the offer, Cypriot fish resources firms are to provide fish with low prices, Hanafy stated.
Kouyialis also offered to provide Egypt with dairy products with competitiveness prices.
This came during a meeting held between Hanafy and Kouyialis that was attended by the Cypriot ambassador to Egypt, Mamdouh Abdel Fattah -Deputy Chairman of Ceneral Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC)-, and other officials.
During the meeting, Hanfay and Kouyialis have discussed establishing mutual trade exchange by which the Egyptian Food Industries Holding company (FIHC) is set to export most of its products to Cyprus.
