The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Belarus rose 28 percent during the period from January to September 2015, Egyptian Minister of Industry Tarek Qabil said Monday.
The Egypt-Belarus trade exchange recorded $177 million, Qabil said following the inauguration of the Egyptian-Belorussian Business Council in Cairo Monday.
Egypt mainly exports agricultural products such as fruits and vegetables to Belarus. On the other side, the North African country imports from Belarus steel and farm tractors.
