An Egyptian-Lebanese joint trade mission is set to visit Côte d’Ivoire and The Republic of the Congo in July 2016, Egyptian Trade Minister Tarek Qabil said Sunday.
He added that a delegation of most effective Lebanese businessmen in Africa is set to visit Egypt on May 27.
The minister ended his visit to Lebanon on Saturday in which he met with a number of large Lebanese businessmen and investors. The visit included a meeting with head and members of the African Continental Council.
Qabil noted that the meeting discussed ‘Egypt- Lebanon to Africa’ Initiative at which the African Continental Council is an essential core due to its experience of trading inside Africa.
Moreover, Qabil agreed on a number of new industrial investment projects in Egypt whose part of their production is set to be dedicated for Africa during his visit.
