Egyptian Assay and Weights Administration (AWD) -affiliated to supply ministry- assayed 26,000 tonnes of gold during the first seven months of 2016, Chairman Mohamed Hanafy stated Sunday.
The official told Amwal Al Ghad that the administration assayed 62,000 tonnes of gold during 2015.
On other side, chairman Hanafy added that the administration attained revenues estimated at more than 80 million Egyptian pounds during financial year 2015-16.
The AWD targets revenue of 79 million pounds during the current fiscal year 2016-17, the head clarified.
