The Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) is seeking to sign a twinning agreement with the German Institute for Standardisation (Deutsches Institut für Normung DIN) soon, head of the FEI announced Thursday.
FEI chairman Mohamed El-Sewedy made his remarks following his meeting with Rüdiger Marquardt – Executive Board Member at DIN – in Cairo.
During the meeting, El-Sewedy stressed the importance of reaching a twinning agreement between FEI and DIN to reinforce efficiency and quality in the Egyptian industry as pursuant to international standards.
DIN is the German national organisation for standardisation and is the German ISO member body. DIN is a German Registered Association headquartered in Berlin. There are currently around thirty thousand DIN Standards, covering nearly every field of technology.
