Egypt is concluding 7690 social housing units in Beheira Governorate in the Nile Delta, minister of housing announced Sunday.
Mostafa Madbouly further said that his ministry is implementing a number of social housing development projects in Beheira.
These projects include a number of housing units and projects of drinking water, sewage, and developing unsafe areas at a cost of 2.7 billion Egyptian pounds (around $173.7 million).
On developing unsafe areas projects, Madbouly stated the government is developing a project in Kassara area in Rosetta, at cost of 21.31 million pounds.
The project involves building 120 housing units. It is scheduled to be completed in late June 2017.
