The Egyptian government has agreed to sign three important international agreements, including a 540 million euro deal with the European Union to support social security, legislative reforms and new projects in renewable energy in Egypt, Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr announced on Wednesday.
Nasr said at a press conference at the Cabinet headquarters in Cairo that the government has also approved a deal with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development worth 12 million Kuwaiti dinars to establish a water station in North Sinai’s El-Arish.
The third agreement is to receive the final tranche, worth $1 billion, of a $3 billion loan from the World Bank to support Egypt’s economic reform programme, Nasr said. Source: Ahram online
