Abu Ali: Cooperation with Superpowers is the Best Way for Bolstering Egyptian Economy

During a conference held Today’s morning by the American Chamber in Egypt, entitled “Egypt’s New Economic Potential,” which was attended by a number of prominent Egyptian and foreign figures. The conference, headed by Ahmed Abu Ali, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, aimed at discussing opportunities for cooperation between the US and Egypt in the coming period, in addition to highlighting the US’s role in supporting Egypt’s Democratic transition.

In exclusive statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Ahmed Abu Ali stated that this conference will have a significant impact on the economic cooperation between the Egyptian and American sides. He also pointed out to the importance of holding periodical conferences in order to enhance  Egypt’s relations with the world’s economic superpowers, especially the US and China.

Abu Ali added that President Mohamed Morsi’s visit to China will help revitalize Egyptian economy by increasing Chinese investment in Egypt.  He noted that building economic ties with China will encourage more countries to launch investments in Egypt, highlighting that the US welcomes the Egyptian-Chinese cooperation.
