Libya Seeks Egyptian Internal Trade Experience

The Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Abu-Zaid Mohamed Abu-Zaid met with Ahmad Salem Al Koshly, Libya’s Minister of Economy and discussed the possible methods of mutual cooperation in the upcoming period.

The Libyan part requested Egypt’s help in supervising commodities, combating smuggling and protecting consumers.

The meeting took up the Egyptian-Libyan efforts in fighting smuggling between both countries. Both Ministries emphasized the importance of implementing the health standards.

The Libyan part will determine its requirements from Egypt so as to write a memorandum of understanding including the mutual cooperation methods.
