A Russian trade mission encompassing 120 firms will be visiting Egypt on May 25-26th, secretary-general of Federation of Egyptian Chambers, Alaa Ezz told reporters Thursday.
The mission will be headed by the Russian Industry and Trade Minister.
Ezz stated that the two-day visit would include bilateral meetings with firms and authorities affiliated to Egyptian ministries of Transportation, Petroleum, Electricity, Civil Aviation, Military Production, Supply, Health, and Agriculture, in addition to the Egyptian military-run Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI).
The delegation is set to attend a gala dinner after visiting Egyptian public and private firms, Ezz added.
On May 26, the Russian delegation is scheduled to convene a conference, in which Egyptian ministers of Transportation, Supply, and International Cooperation will showcase investment opportunities in Egypt.
The conference is set to be inaugurated by Egyptian and Russian ministers of Trade and Industry, the secretary-general clarified.
The mission’s agenda includes reviewing the mutual projects that Russia offers as well as reviewing Russian funding mechanisms.
Upon invitation from Egyptian companies and state authorities, the Russian mission will hold ten successive sessions in various sectors; trade and industry, agriculture, health, pharmaceuticals, power, petroleum, mining, and etc.
