Egypt’s El-Mohandes Coatings and Solvents Company is planning to increase its exports to $10 million at end of 2017, said its export manager Mohamed Omara on Thursday.
The company also seeks to boost local sales by 25 percent during 2017, he added.
Omara stated that his company has begun exporting products in 2011, with at least ten shipments per month.
El-Mohandes exports its products to many countries such as Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Iraq, he clarified.
The Egyptian company also targets expanding exports to include African and Asian markets as well as more Arab countries, Omara added.
“We are keen on benefiting from the liberalisation of exchange rate to boost product market competitiveness.” he said.
2016 sales have registered 100 million Egyptian pounds ($5.3 million), El-Mohandes’ CEO noted. These exports will be upped 25 percent to 125 million pounds.
