Al-Azhar University inaugurates its first faculty of agriculture for girls

Egypt’s Al-Azhar University launched its first-ever Faculty of Agriculture for Girls in Cairo for the academic year 2023-2024, it announced on its website.

The new college will be located near the existing College of Agriculture for Boys.

Faculty members from the boys’ college will be delivering lectures and sessions for female students.

The new faculty is set to empower female students and to offer them the opportunity to contribute Egypt’s agricultural sector.

Admission at Al-Azhar University faculties in Cairo and other regions is now open for students from Al-Azhar High School’s first round.
