AmCham-Egypt mission starts door knock mission to U.S. today
The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt) has kicked off on Monday its annual 43rd door-knock mission to the U.S. aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
After one-year suspension prompted by the rapid evolution of a global pandemic in 2020, the mission comprises this year of only seven investors and businessmen representing various economic sectors.
The mission is organised in collaboration with the U.S. Egypt Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The mission will present Egypt’s timely and prudent fiscal and monetary policies, which helped mitigate the health and social impact of the pandemic while safeguarding economic stability, debt sustainability, and investor confidence, said Omar Mehanna, chairperson of the Egypt-US Business Council, told Amwal Al Ghad.
