Hyundai Motors’ factory in St. Petersburg has started production of cars to be exported to the Egyptian and Lebanese markets.
The firm has signed agreements on the supply of Russian-manufactured Hyundai Solaris cars to Egypt and Lebanon.
The vehicles will be specially adapted to the hot climate of the Middle East. To do this they will be equipped with special air conditioning and ventilation systems, and battery.” Hyundai Motors Company said in a statement Monday.
By the last month of summer, the Russian company said Hyundai Motor 550 cars will be produced. Before the end of the current year in Egypt and Lebanon, it is expected to supply not less than 4,000 cars, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported.
The cars will be delivered from St. Petersburg Maritime Transport; shipping would take less than one month.
From his part, Choi Dong Yel – General Director of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus – said: “We are thrilled that our manufactured Cars became very popular among Russian customers, we hope that they will be more loved and in the new markets of our exports in Egypt and Lebanon.”
