The Asian market witnessed a decline in the majority of its indices today, as Chinese main index Shanghai (SSEC) witnessed a decline of – 0.47 percent to close at 3,291.15.

Its opening value at morning trade was 3,292.05, reaching a day high of 3,307.03 and a day low of 3,286.72. The index’s previous closing value was 3,306.52.

The Japanese main index Nikkei 225 (N225) witnessed a decline of – 1.34 percent on Wednesday as well to reach a value of 27,104.32. The index’s highest recorded value today was 27,300.53, and the lowest value was 27,046.08.

HSI or Hang Seng index, the main index at Hong Kong’s stock exchange witnessed a decline of – 0.49 percent to close at 20,428.25. The day’s high was 20,512.49 and the low was 20,344.86. Its previous closing was 20,529.49.
