Asian market briefing 27/03/2023

The Asian markets witnessed a drop in two of the main indices on Monday, with the Chinese main index, SSEC, dropping by -0.44 percent. The index dropped to 3,251.40, when it opened at 3,261.82. It recorded a day high value of 3,261.82 and a day low value of 3,229.70.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, rose by 0.33 percent to 27,476.87, after it gained 91.62 points. It recorded a day high value of 27,543.48 and a day low value of 27,359.72.

The Hang Seng (HSI), Hong Kong’s main index, lost 347.99 points and fell by -1.75 percent to 19,567.69. The index recorded a day high value of 19,938.77 and a day low value of 19,509.49.
