Asian markets briefing 07/04/2023

The Asian markets closed high on Friday, with the Chinese main index, SSEC, climbing by 0.45 percent. The index closed at 3,327.65 after it gained 15.02 points. It recorded a day high value of 3,328.85 and a day low value of 3,308.06.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, rose by 0.17 percent to 27,518.31, after it gained 45.68 points. It recorded a day high value of 27,591.15 and a day low value of 27,456.25.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, inched up by 0.28 percent and gained 56.61 points. The index closed at 20,331.20, recording a day high value of 20,343.86 and a day low value of 20,099.48.
